I've seen it at the Newsagent but haven't got my copy yet. Hopefully will get it tomorrow. Here are my two layouts in this months issue. You know when you do a layout and then you look at it six months later and you think...hmm I would probably do it differently now. That happens to me very frequently. lol. This month I'm looking at my layouts and I still like them. That's good right?
Things are finally calming down a bit...the book is done and also the calendar is wrapped up. Now it's back to monthly assignments and the occasional article. Which leaves me some time to play! So I've nearly finished my first layout for the CherryArte DT contest. Yes I will enter...you have to be in it to win it right? I never thought I would be part of the ET Team but you just never know. So who else is going to give it a try?
Also thanks to everyone that left comments on my blog. It doesn't feel so lonely in 'blog world' anymore :)
And here is a funny story before I go...A couple of days ago my husband Steve and his ex-wife had to go to a parent-teacher meeting at their daughters school so I agreed to babysit her 2 youngest ones (3years and 9 months old girls). The 3 year old was fine, she is very familiar with my children, but the baby cried for the entire 2 hours...I then told my husband in no uncertain terms that I would not be available to babysit the youngest one again. He was very apologetic and said the reason he arranged it was because he thought I might get clucky again. rofl. Well that backfired big time :)))
Have a good day!

I've been tagged...
I've been tagged a few days ago by Kathie Link...sorry for only getting around to this now. I've had a few busy days.
Here goes...
What scrapbook lines/products, etc. do you dislike?
I can't seem to find much use for metal embellishments. I've got some in my stash but never seem to use them...
What is the hardest thing you have ever had to scrap?
I've scrapped some pages about my childhood and my grandparents. I spent quite a bit of time with my grandparents in school holidays and have lots of fond memories. It was sad for me when they died before they had a chance to meet my children.
I also scrapped a couple of pages a while back about a very rough time a couple years back when I had some serious health issues. That was a very difficult process.
What technique do you use more than anything else?
Probably sanding and sewing.
What is the smallest scrap of paper you save?
6x6in...anything smaller I know I will not use again.
Have you ever had any scrapbook related injuries?
Pricking my self in the finger with an awl. Does that count??
Finish this sentence, "If I wasn't a scrapbooker/stamper, I would spend my
money on..."
don't know...maybe more clothes? Chocolate? Buy that anyway:)
Give us your best storage or organizational idea.
I would like some some advice myself. lol
You just won a week long scrapbooking cruise for 5. Who is going with you?
Probably some scrapping girlfriends.
When you received your first publication notification, who did you tell?
Anyone that just happened to talk to me that day:) My husband was the first though. He is also my biggest supporter.

Weekend...
We've had a full weekend, but it was mostly fun. Yesterday we went up to the Northern Beaches and had Fish and Chips for lunch. We should do it more often, it is only a 45 minute drive. But we say that every time :) The kids had great fun and on the way back we popped in to an amazing toy store at Mona Vale. The kids got some dress ups which kept them occupied all day today. Toy stores are almost as bad for me as scrapbooking stores. Just can't help myself! Didn't get to scrapbook this weekend. Have to get my fix tomorrow. Kids are in bed and I need a glass of wine and 5 minutes to myself. Have a good week everyone.
The photo of Steve, Max and myself was taken by my 4 year old daughter. She is a natural :)

Technology ?$**()_^^&$#
Yesterday my scanner was working fine. This morning my computer told me it wasn't there!?? What is it with technology?
Anyway, I got it working again, just re-installed the driver.
Had a day of just playing around yesterday. Didn't work on any assignments, just did what I wanted to do. It felt good for a change. But then I couldn't live without the briefs and deadlines either :))
This layout was created with the Jenni Bowlin March Kit. Love her stuff!
Have a good day!

Question
Yesterday was the first day that my step daughter Monique attended Pony Club. She had regurlar lessons for the last 4 years and is a good rider. Now here is my problem...not only does Pony Club take up the whole Sunday of my husband's time but also Saturday afternoon. The horse has to be washed and groomed etc on the Saturday. The Sunday then is a whole day affair starting at 8am and finishing around 5pm. It is on every 2nd weekend. I'm left with the younger two children. Now my question is...how far can one child's activities rule the entire weekend of a family? Our middle daughter will start school next year and our son the year after. They will start doing things on the weekends. I'm trying to be understanding but finding it rather difficult. Maybe in time it will all fall into place. I'm hoping :)

Bic Runga
Went to see Bic Runga last night. Awesome woman with a fantastic voice. We could only get Standing room as the concert was sold out but it was well worth it.
Also got my Jenni Bowlin March Kit yesterday. So many yummy goodies, now I just need to find the time to play with them!
Have a good weekend everyone.

Wacom
Bought myself a Wacom tablet today on eBay! Can't wait to start playing around.
Also went to Bunnings today to get some storage boxes for the kids rooms and play area. It is a real sense of achievement to de-clutter and get rid of some stuff they don't use anymore. The playroom just looks real neat now. Probably only lasts for a couple of hours until the the kids have it destroyed again but it sure looks good right now :)
Should do some scrapbooking. Have got some assignments due. Better go :)

Ok, i've finally given in to this blogging thing :) I'm actually looking forward to posting my ramblings.
Having a day at home today setting up this blog and doing some assignments for "For Keeps".
A day after my own heart. Have to go out tonight with my husband for a business dinner though and listen to
people talk Caraven Parks all night (we run a Caravan Park and the annual state meeting is on at the moment).
That's it for today. Unfortunately I can't post any new layouts at the moments since they will have to go to the mag first.
I think this blogging will be addictive!
