See this adorable German Sheppard? Her name is Rani and we had her since she was 6 months old, she is now 4. We also have a Maltese which is 10 and a Border Collie that is 5. All of them were puppies when they came to live with us. Just before Christmas we picked up a one year old Kelpie from the pound to give him a new home. He is a very affectionate and playful dog (and tends to wander a bit too). But we now have a problem. Rani, the Sheppard, has all the sudden started to attack our Border Collie. And attacking is putting it mildly. I had Cooper at the vets several times as she has done some real damage biting him. I have to keep Cooper inside now most of the time and need to chain Rani when I let Cooper out. We have contacted the German Sheppard Rescue to get some advice and were told that Rani possibly sees the new dog as a better and stronger male partner. We have come to the very difficult decision to find Rani a new home where she is an only dog and found a lovely family near Melbourne that will adopt her. We are now just waiting for a date from the transport company that will take her. It will be a very sad day for all of us to see her go. She is a lovely dog but I can't put my Border Collie through this any more.
Now to some happier news...The first LO was done with the new LYB 'Twig' collection...loving the colours!
